Known as the third Golden Triangle City of China alongside Beijing and Shanghai, Xian is steeped in rich history, taking you back in time to an era long gone but still alive in spirit. Even though you can only spare two days in the city, it’s definitely worth a visit if you plan right.

48 hours may not seem like a lot, but if you plan right, you’ll have plenty of time to visit Xian’s top highlights while also sampling some local cuisine and taking in its vibrant nightlife, while staying at trendy apartments in the likes of lyf Dayanta Xian.
Creating an Itinerary
On day 1, visit the Terracotta Armies, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the fortification wall, and the Bell and Drum towers before heading back to your Xian apartments for the evening. On day 2, explore the Shaanxi History Museum and walk through the Muslim Quarter if you have time.
Opting for a cultural tour of the city on day 1 is also a great way to see many of the attractions without much hassle.
